Shalala's sire, Marfa, is the sire of 34 runners winning $100,000 or more, and the son of Foolish Pleasure. Her dam, Aiglon, raced in Holland, and is from a whole line of European winning race horses. Has been used as a broodmare, the last 3 years, but was a very successful Jumper in Florida, prior to that. She was started back into jumping training, May of 2005, and did well, but we decided to retire her from jumping at that point, due to a sore back. Shalala has a great personality, is easy to work with, and is a wonderful mom. She is being sold as a broodmare only (she is sound for light riding, but no jumping; her back can't handle jumping).
Offered for sale:
$3000
Sold in-foal to Donnermeyer with LFG.
